Freeflow
Freeflow for me was about expressing the sights of my home town in abstract formations. Living in a coastal village it allowed me to observe the textures of the nature around me and shapes; such of the rocky shores and waves crashing against them.
Abstract for me has always been my favorite style, it gives me freedom to interpret things in my own way and show the world how I see it through my eyes.
The pieces take inspiration from Cy Twombly; one of my favourite artists in the mark making, which I then have paired alongside my pallet knife styling.
This series uses Golden acrylics alongside other mediums such as Spray paint, charcoal, pen and pastel. Pieces vary between paper and canvas originals. For pricing and availability enquiries please email: emilysarahart@gmail.com
